1° Day - Saturday: Catania

Independent arrival at the hotel Il Principe. Accommodation. Welcome cocktail and dinner. Overnight in your hotel.

2° Day - Sunday: Catania - Siracusa - Ragusa with Sicilian typical products tasting

After a buffet breakfast, depart to Syracuse to visit the archaeological area “Neapolis” including the famous Latomie of the Paradise and the Dyionisios “Ear”. Continue to the island of Ortigia, the small baroque old city centre of Siracusa: visit of the Cathedral and Arethuse Fountain. Lunch on your own. Depart to Ragusa and visit of the enchanting historical centre “Ibla”, with its stunning Baroque palaces and churches. Together with other seven cities in the Val di Noto, Ragusa is listed among the Unesco World Heritage Sites. Enjoy a tasting of typical products in the main square by the Dome. Accommodation, dinner and overnight at Hotel Poggio del Sole.

3° Day - Monday: Ragusa - Caltagirone - Piazza Armerina - Agrigento

After a buffet breakfast, depart to Caltagirone, a small town in the inland of Sicily, declared by Unesco World Heritage Site and famous worldwide for the production of pottery and terra-cotta wares: panoramic visit and opportunity of shopping. Continue to Piazza Armerina to visit the worldwide known Villa Romana del Casale, declared a Unesco World Heritage Site, thanks to its well preserved mosaics. Lunch in a local restaurant. Depart to Agrigento, a hillside town famous for its magnificent Valley of the Temples, a Unesco World Heritage Site: guided tour of the Valley, including the Temple of Concordia, Juno, Zeus and Heracles. Accommodation and dinner at hotel Dioscuri Bay Palace. Overnight.

4° Day - Tuesday: Agrigento - Palermo - Monreale

After a buffet breakfast depart to Palermo. Accommodation at Grand Hotel Piazza Borsa. Time at leisure. Lunch on your own. In the afternoon visit of Monreale: the Cathedral, one of the most beautiful monuments of the world with its Moorish architecture, housing very fine mosaics and the Benedictine Cloister in Arab-Norman style. Continue the visit of the historical centre of Palermo, one of the largest of Europe, including the Cathedral, the Palace of the Normans and its superb Palatine Chapel. Dinner in a local restaurant. Overnight in your hotel.

1° Day - Saturday: Catania

Arrive in Catania and make your own way to the hotel Il Principe. Enjoy a welcome drink and dinner this evening.

2° Day - Sunday: Catania - Siracusa - Ragusa with Sicilian typical products tasting

Drive to Syracuse to visit the marvellous archaeological area then continue to the island of Ortigia, where you will see the magnificent Cathedral and the Fountain of Arethusa. Travel to Ragusa to admire its stunning baroque buildings before enjoying a pre-dinner tasting of typical products of the island in the main square by the Dome. Accommodation, dinner and overnight at Hotel Poggio del Sole.

3° Day - Monday: Ragusa - Caltagirone - Piazza Armerina - Agrigento

Drive to Caltagirone, a town famous for its beautiful ceramics and pottery. Continue to Piazza Armerina to marvel at the Villa Romana del Casale’s rich mosaics. Eat lunch in a local restaurant before driving to Agrigento. Visit the Valley of the Temples including the Temple of Juno, Concord and Heracles. Accommodation and dinner at hotel Dioscuri bay Palace. Overnight.

4° Day - Tuesday: Agrigento - Palermo - Monreale

Travel to Palermo and spend some time exploring at your leisure. Visit Monreale this afternoon: the Cathedral and the Benedictine Cloister. Enjoy a city tour of Palermo: the Palatine Chapel, the Royal Palace and the Cathedral. Dinner in a local restaurant. Accommodation and overnight at Grand Hotel Piazza Borsa.

5° Day - Wednesday: Palermo - Segesta - Erice - Salt Route (Trapani area) - Palermo

Depart to Segesta to visit the Temple and the Theatre. Continue to the medieval village of Erice placed on the top of a hill overlooking the city of Trapani and the Egadi Islands before returning to Palermo via the unique salt windmills at Trapani. Dinner and overnight in your Hotel.

6° Day - Thursday: Palermo - Cefalù - Nebrodi Park - Taormina

Drive to Cefalù to admire its well-preserved Arab-Norman Cathedral. Enjoy a walk to the city centre and down main street to visit the medieval wash-house built in the rock. Drive through the Nebrodi Park and enjoy lunch in the Miraglia Forest. Continue to Cesarò and Randazzo to visit the north part of Mount Etna. Continue to Taormina, “the Pearl of the Ionian Sea”. Accommodation, dinner and overnight at Hotel Villa Diodoro, located near historic centre of Taormina.

7° Day - Friday: Taormina - Mount Etna - Taormina

Weather permitting, you can join an optional morning excursion to Mount Etna, Europe’s highest active volcano. Across fascinating landscape, you will reach a height of 1800 metres and you will enjoy a fantastic panorama over the Ionian Sea (supplement on the spot; the excursion will take place with a minimum of participants). Lunch on your own. Afternoon in Taormina: enjoy time at leisure for shopping or walking through the tiny streets. Possibility to visit the Roman - Greek theatre on your own. Return to the your hotel. Dinner and overnight.

8° Day - Saturday: Taormina - Catania - Pozzallo - Malta

Morning at leisure. In the early afternoon, transfer from Taormina to Catania port by private car. Board the bus provided by the Ferry Company to Pozzallo port: here board the hydrofoil to Malta, delightful Mediterranean island. Transfer to Hotel Dolmen Resort located in St Paul’s Bay or similar 4 stars. Late arrival in Hotel and accommodation. A cold dinner is served in your room (cold cut, sandwiches...). Overnight.

9° Day - Sunday: Malta “The Three cities”

Take in some of Malta’s historical highlights on a morning tour. Visit the imposing Church of St Lawrence and the Maritime Museum in Vittoriosa before continuing to Senglea for a panoramic view of the Grand Harbour and its fortifications. Spend the rest of the day relaxing or exploring at your leisure. Dinner in your Hotel.

10° Day - Monday: Malta "Valletta"

Enjoy a morning tour of Valletta – Malta’s heritage-rich capital. Highlights include the Upper Barracca Gardens and St John’s Cathedral, home to a splendid Caravaggio painting as well as an intriguing Museum. The excursion ends with a visit to the Grandmaster’s Palace. Spend the rest of the day exploring at your leisure. Dinner in your Hotel.

11° Day - Tuesday: Malta “Mdina”

Today’s sightseeing starts with a visit of Mosta Church renowned worldwide for its magnificent dome and a visit to the Botanic Gardens of San Anton. We proceed to Ta Qali Crafts Village where we will visit The Phoenician Glass Blowers, JCF Jewellers and Bristow Potteries. After lunch we visit the Wignacourt Museum as well as the St. Paul’s Grotto in Rabat and then proceed with a walk through the medieval walled city of Mdina, situated in the centre of the island.

12° Day - Wednesday: Malta

The tour ends after breakfast with a private transfer to the port or the airport of Valletta.
